So As Dave Said I Am In Line For The iPhone

By Dan Wassink - Posted on June 29th, 2007
So I am in line drinking the Koolaid.... actually Apple just supplied us with water and Starbucks coffee. They are also going giving out Starbucks bakery goods for the hungry fold. That's some good koolaid for us Apple freaks. There are about 40 people in line so far, maybe 15-20 people behind me. Dave thinks I am at spot seven, but I am closer to spot 20 or so. Apparently they started lining up yesterday afternoon. They had to camp out in there cars as the mall would not allow them to stay in the mall overnight.
Apple has the security guard at the door. And now I wait another 5 hours :(

well read this little article about the iPhone and how it blows...lol... sounded fine to me, but time will tell..
some quotes
"But the iPhone isn't called the "iPod With Phone." It's the iPhone and, put simply, it isn't a very good phone."
"Well, the iPhone is a multimedia-iPod-thing with a phone tacked on. Call quality on this thing is surprisingly bad, until you remember it's Apple's first stab at a phone."
"Tested in a weak signal area against a BlackBerry Curve, the iPhone did poorly — it couldn't connect two out of three calls, where the Curve could connect all three."

I've hard rumors, from 40 to 1,000. With my luck, the store will get 1,000 and all this waiting is for nothing. But if I wasn't here waiting, the store would have had 40. It's just the way it works. I had a Starbucks Frappuchino... java chip. MMMMMM
is there any idea of how many iPhones each store will get? are the people behind you just wasting their time? are you? Wow what a great lunch I just had... you?
