A Toyota Race team ran the Tokachi 24-hour endurance race in Japan and won, the car was a Hybrid Supra with 480 Horsepower. From my experience in racing things are developed in racing and brought to the real world some years later. This means that not too far in the future we may see a performance hybrid car, as of this point they little more than an econobox that doesn't get much better milage than my old ass Volkswagon Jetta.

As a Kid growing up I used to watch Mr. Wizzard (Don Hurbert), to this day my older brother still calls me Don Herbert being as I am always messing with something. Mr. Wizzard was great at lighting things on fire while students stood way to close... I will miss him, rest in piece Don.
